Biography
After being convicted of a felony at 19 years old, Antonio Reza enrolled at a community college and graduated with 3 associate degrees, and a 4.0 GPA. Antonio transferred to the University of San Francisco where he earned a bachelor’s degree and received EVERY award offered by his department including valedictorian. Antonio is a celebrated alumnus of USF and was inducted into their prestigious 30 Under 30. Antonio then studied at Santa Clara University School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor degree. He worked for the Northern California Innocence Project, became a bestselling author on Amazon, and his TEDx Talk is available on YouTube. Antonio was active in academic leadership during law school as the External Vice President of the La Raza Law Student Association and the Vice President of External Affairs for the Student Bar Association. While at Santa Clara University SOL, Antonio worked as a Panetta Fellow and senior staff at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy. Outside of law school he is an executive board member and the first student President of the National Justice Impacted Bar Association, as well as an executive board member and a Northern California Representative of the California System-Involved Bar Association.
Currently, he is a licensed attorney practicing in California. He is licensed to practice in both state and federal court. He has a robust practice of criminal defense work in the Bay Area; he is proud to practice post-conviction relief including assisting individuals in cleaning their criminal records and re-sentencings. Antonio is often contacted by his broad network to assist in holding government agencies accountable. Antonio’s civil cases include police brutality, wrongful death, and civil rights violations.
